A key hub of the Mestizo Arts Festival (since 2009), the WORK IN PROGRESS formula is a cross-fertilisation between some 40 organisations to fine-tune feelers and help artists move on to the stages. Initiated by MAP and with cooperative thinking in mind, this formula has germinated into an inter-city co-production in Antwerp, Brussels and Ghent, with annual Work In Progress in each city.
For some years now, the work in progress format has been transformed into WIPCOOP (Work in Progress Cooperation) and is coordinated by Mestizo Arts Platform.
